"Soooooo, you're a Bookkeeper and Brand Photographer?!?" - literally everyone

Yep. That's me!
When I decided to start my own business, I couldn't pick between my two passions: accounting and photography. But then I realized,
Hey! This is my business! And if I'm creating something from scratch, why not do both? Why not create a business where I'm a Bookkeeper and Brand Photographer?!?
As my favorite saying goes I'm "part Numbers Nerd, part Camera Creative and 100% here for you".
Yes, I'm alllllso a little bit cheesy. That's part of the gig, right??

And now I'm starting a blog...which feels very weird for this Elder Millennial and just a liiiiiittttle bit full circle.
I grew up in the age of LiveJournal and MySpace. I had a years long running blog where I dumped every little thought that popped into my brain to entertain my followers. All 3 of them. 1 of whom was my mom and I'm sure she cringed every time that post notification hit her inbox.
But this? This is not going to be that kind of blog.
This is a very Grown Up kind of blog. A blog that is polished and thoughtful. That is full of lovely images and helpful business tools.
The kind of blog that provides valuable answers to your Big Question like:
'How do I place my hands so they don't look weird in photos?!?'

and
'Is this a COG or a regular ole expense??!'

(all while trying to figure out SEO, keywords and all that fun stuff because hey, ya girl's a business owner and I would love to connect with my dream clients)
I will try my very best to make my copywriting bestie (the wildly talented Dianna of Rise Copy Co) proud because Lord knows I've been pestering her with blogging questions for a whole week...
...starting next post. As I clearly have ignored her incredibly wise advice to do any form of research and this post is true to my old rambling blog format.
So if you have any big questions for me, feel free to drop them in the comments. Goodness knows I will need ideas for content.
I can't wait to see how this little MHF Blog experiment turns out. Who knows? Maybe I'll even start a newsletter *GASP!*
